my poems

 Poems:

Black out:

In the air a noise whispered, a willow-tree with twisted leaves

toppled over, the grey and yellow light seemed to spell the great grey willow. Fighting with sleep was over in a dream sun muttered sleep.

Poem:

Cinnamon

Wide dark brown eyes with thick, long black eyelashes stare at the moon in awe.

She carries a big brown leather bag full of joy and bad luck cautiously trying not to spill the objects inside

.

She moves gracefully, but is strangely fast and is as quiet as a mouse.

She has a soft, kind voice that makes her sound like she's singing, but if you get on her nerves her voice becomes stern and so serious that it's as if her voice could sink a boat.

Her freckles cover her face like a mask, her long blond hair is always down.

Her name is cinnamon.

Rhyming poem:

Simon Mole

There once was a poet called simon mole

He likes to eat sausage rolls from a bowl.

He lived in a hole with his best friend Joel who was part troll.

Joel liked to go on strolls with his pet foal whose name was also joel.

They loved to eat coal.

One day Joel lost control and turned into a full troll.

He ate his pet foal whose name was also joel and then turned Simon Mole into a sausage roll.

Week three

Today we did a lot more practising of the play it was very enjoyable! I also swapped characters with Amelia even though I did like my role I also really like the role she had.

week two

 25/9/2020

Today we got our roles in the play. My role is Nigel he is the best man of the groom and seems to be pretty dumb! He has a good amount of lines and I like all of them! My favorite part of the day was rehearsing our roles though sometimes it did get a bit boring standing there, But it will be worth in the end. My least favorite part would be using my device though it was only for the last block I still did not enjoy it.

week one

Every friday at school we do PREP. what I do for PREP is drama, in drama we will be preforming a play at market day. our play is about a wedding that goes horribly wrong. we also have to write a reflection every friday in the last block of school.

18/9/2020

This week in drama we practised the play with random roles. in the last block of the school day we had to get out our devices and start writing reflections (like I am now) on how our day went, we also had to sort out our group name ( which ended up to be happily ever laughter) and our expenses. today I have had lots of fun and hope I get a good role in the play. one thing I would change next time is to put myself out there a bit more but other than that I think I had a good day.

Grenade lyrics by Bruno Mars almost famous

in almost famous i will be recreating these lyrics for it to be my own song.

 [Verse 1]

Am
Easy come, easy go,
Am
That's just how you live, oh,
Em
Take, take, take it all,
Em
But you never give.
Am
Should've known you was trouble
Am
From the first kiss,
Em
Had your eyes wide open.
Em
Why were they open?

[Pre-chorus]

Am
Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash,
Em
You tossed it in the trash, you did.
Am
To give me all your love is all I ever asked, 'cause
F E
What you don't understand is

[Chorus]

Am F C
I'd catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C
I'd jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C Gmaj
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah)
F Gmaj
Oh, oh, I would go through all of this pain,
C E Am Gmaj
Take a bullet straight through my brain!
F E
Yes, I would die for ya, baby,
E
But you won't do the same.

Am Am Em Em
No, no no

[Verse 2]

Am
Black, black, black and blue, beat me 'til I'm numb,
Em
Tell the devil I said "hey" when you get back to where you're from.
Am
Mad woman, bad woman, that's just what you are,
Em
Yeah, you'll smile in my face then rip the brakes out my car

[Pre-chorus]

Am
Gave you all I had and you tossed it in the trash,
Em
You tossed it in the trash, yes you did.
Am
To give me all your love is all I ever asked, 'cause
F E
What you don't understand is

[Chorus]

Am F C
I'd catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C
I'd jump in front of a train for ya (yeah, yeah)
Gmaj Am F C Gmaj
You know I'd do anything for ya (yeah, yeah)
F Gmaj
Oh, oh, I would go through all of this pain,
C E Am Gmaj
Take a bullet straight through my brain!
F E
Yes, I would die for ya, baby,
E
But you won't do the same.

[Bridge]

F
If my body was on fire,
Am
Ooh, you'd watch me burn down in flames.
F
You said you loved me, you're a liar,
E
'cause you never, ever, ever did, baby!

Am Am Em Em

But, darling

[Chorus]

Am F C
I'd still catch a grenade for ya (yeah, yeah)

[Outro]

(Am)
No, you won't do the same
(Em)
You wouldn't do the same
(Am)
Ooh, you'd never do the same
(Em)
Ohh, no no no
